The exam
It's harder than people admit
Three parts. You need a 70% on each. Business and Finance is the one that takes people down — first-time pass rates sit around 50 to 55%. Open book doesn't mean easy.
Why I Built This
Here's the thing. The Florida GC exam isn't testing how good a contractor you are. It's testing whether you studied the right material and can find it fast under a clock. When I started studying, I found two kinds of prep: expensive classroom courses with dated websites, or scattered free advice that left out the parts that actually matter. I'm building Florida Contractor Prep so you don't have to choose between those.
Honest about what's hard, clear about what matters, and priced so it's not a gamble.

The prices
Competitors charge $795 to $1,300 for a course alone, before books. A lot of them are classroom-first with websites built decades ago. You shouldn't have to gamble that kind of money on prep.
The fix
Self-paced video, real practice questions, and book tab-and-highlight guides — built for working adults with limited study time. One price, no classroom, no fluff.
Stop guessing
Start with Business and Finance — the part that fails the most people — or take the free practice exam and see where you stand. Either way, you'll have done the real thing, on the clock, before it counts.
Modern, affordable prep for the Florida General Contractor exam — built by someone who just passed.
