Privacy Policy

This is the plain-English version. Florida Contractor Prep is a one-person operation. Your data doesn’t go anywhere it shouldn’t. Here’s exactly how this works.

Who We Are

Florida Contractor Prep is operated by Ethan Notestine, a sole proprietor based in Florida. The website is floridagcprep.com. You can reach me at ethan@floridagcprep.com with any privacy-related questions.

What We Collect

We only collect what you actively give us. There are three ways that happens on this site:

Email forms. When you submit your email address — through the practice test, the course preorder form, the contact form, or the blog subscription — we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your first name. That’s it.

Contact form. The contact page asks for your name, email address, and message. This goes directly to me. I read it and reply. It is not added to any automated sequence unless you explicitly sign up for one.

Practice quiz. When you complete the quiz and submit your email, we also record your score and the exam section you scored lowest in. This is used to send you relevant study content — not to sell or share your data.

How We Use It

Your email address is used to send you what you signed up for: exam prep tips, course updates, and study content. All email is sent through Resend, a third-party email platform. You can unsubscribe from any email with one click — there is no runaround. You can also choose which kinds of email you get, instead of opting out of everything.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not give it to anyone except the services listed below, and only so they can do the job we hired them for.

Cookies and Analytics

The site uses Google Fonts, which may set performance cookies. We also use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-JMLD0X9HL7) to understand how visitors find and use the site — which pages they read, where they came from, and whether they completed actions like starting the practice test. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address and device information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the official browser add-on. We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting pixels, or third-party marketing trackers.

Third-Party Services

Four services touch your data:

• Netlify hosts the site.
• Resend sends and manages email.
• Supabase stores your practice-test results and, if you create one, your account login.
• Stripe processes payments. Card details go straight to Stripe — they never touch our servers.

Each of these has its own privacy policy. We don’t control what they collect on their end, but we only share the minimum information needed to operate the service.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your email address for as long as you’re subscribed. When you unsubscribe, Resend removes you from future sends. If you want your data deleted entirely, email me at ethan@floridagcprep.com and I’ll take care of it within 30 days.

Your Rights

You can request to see what data we have on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email me directly. No forms, no ticketing system.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. We’re not going to surprise you with anything — this is a one-person exam prep course, not a data company.
